Mind the Gap

Let me talk to you about SoHo Playhouse for a second. Saw the Emperor Jones and it was tremendous and terrifying... see it. Eugene O'Neill was really something. I'm probably going to have to see it again. Anyway, I overheard a bit of dialogue today while standing on Houston and Lafayette:

Construction Worker: "Nelson, if you don't go stand over there where I told you, I'm gonna fucking smack you."

Also, today Taylor, Christine and I made a survival plan just in case one of us accidentally falls onto the Subway Tracks. Here it is:

Climb Out

Don't touch the big electric thing (instant death)

If a train is coming and there's no time to climb out, lay down.

Or hide in the cubby thing, or possibly underneath the platform... with the rats.
